I am in receipt of your letter of the 6th Instant addressed to you upon my hearing from the Senate of Macao that the remains of the late Governor Amaral were not to be given up, by the delegate sent with them, unless 3 Chinese, detained in Macao by the Portuguese, were set at liberty as necessary evidence.
